First Post!

Hello friends! Welcome to our new blog!

Here are a few facts about us love birds :)

• Officially met on May 10, 2009, with a little help from Cary's mom, even though he denies this.

• After about 2 weeks of dating, Cary had to go down to Albuquerque for a few weeks. During this time, he realized he left his hiking boots in Denver, and this was obviously important enough to warrant a 7 hour drive to come retrieve them. Seeing me was just a pleasant coincidence. ... Yeah, no one else bought that either! :0).

• Cary does not even remember telling me he loves me. I wrote it down in my journal and day dreamed about it for a week! Sheesh. Men.

• We got engaged on October 2nd, while feeding the ducks. I really want a nice painting of ducks in a pond to hang in our future house.

• We love Chick-fil-a, Cheesecake custard at Goodtimes, Triscuits with gouda, and crepes.

• We are establishing our marriage on a very shaky foundation, because we stand on opposite sides of the Mac vs. PC debate. (He'll come around...)

• We love to be outside- swimming, rafting, skiing and playing for Amy, hiking and camping for Cary.

• Our favorite hobbies include: playing speed scrabble, watching movies, playing cards, cooking together, taking my puppy on walks, going to zoos/museums/aquariums, and doing anything with our families.

• We are both probably going to get cancer from the solid days spent with the phone next to our ears.

• I kissed him first.
